¡Bienvenidos/Welcome! My name is Karen (Lorence) Rubio and I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist (Spanish/English) providing speech therapy services virtually in Pennsylvania and Delaware. I focus on a variety of needs from school age to early adulthood.

Karen
Karen is a certified and licensed bilingual (Spanish/English) speech-language pathologist (in PA and DE) with extensive expertise as a treating clinician. She received her BA in Education (2012) from the University of El Salvador in El Salvador and earned her Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology (2020) the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C.
Karen has worked in schools and private practice. She has experience treating individuals of all ages who have difficulties related to speech/language disorders, articulation, phonological disorders, social/pragmatics, fluency, AAC, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) .
Karen is passionate about involving caregivers with the treatment plan in order to achieve optimal success and tailored towards interests and areas of need.

SERVICES
TheraPath Solutions provides private speech therapy solutions to individuals from school age to early adulthood. We collaborate with educators, physicians, and other providers, as needed.
In a 1:1 speech therapy treatment, the individual has the full attention of the speech-language pathologist for the entirety of the session focusing on the client’s goals. A variety of treatment materials are utilized to address goals and are carefully selected for each individual.
Group sessions are designed to be a learning experience that mimics the real world. Here we encourage one another and provide the chance to carryover the strategies needed for success. Each group is led by a skilled speech-language pathologist.
Our clients are most successful when they have the support of their families and/or caregivers. Each individual treatment plan consists of goals to educate and train our families and caregivers related to the specific diagnosis and the strategies that will promote optimal speech and language skills.
Our comprehensive bilingual/monolingual evaluations examine all areas of concern utilizing both formal, informal testing, observations, and parent input forms. Full written reports are provided within 3-5 business days.
